SunnComm Chosen to "Enhance" Len Doolin Country Hit

Len Doolin CD, "Once in a Lifetime" Scheduled to Hit Record Stores in November

PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 26, 2001--Today Phoenix-based SunnComm Inc. announced a revenue agreement with Nashville's Sunbird Records, a division of Cayenne Entertainment.

Sunbird represents up-and-coming country music star, Len Doolin. Doolin's latest release, "Once in a Lifetime," is due in stores in mid-November using SunnComm's new Expanded Experience CD (CD3(TM)) product to provide a new brand of secure consumer experience to compact discs.

This release contains a Top 40 single in the country music market, "Breakin What's Left of My Heart," and will include his new hit based on the recent attacks on America called, "There Ain't No Yellow in the Red, White and Blue," a breakout single currently being heard on radio stations coast to coast.

"SunnComm expands the consumer experience of the standard CD with SunnComm's proprietary CD3(TM) technology," stated John D. Aquilino, chairman and CTO for SunnComm.

"This new release will feature security measures via on-board digital rights management (DRM) included as a second session. These new features will enable CD owners to play the tunes on their computers while keeping the digital songs from being uploaded to file sharing services or emailed to others."

Fans of Len Doolin will also be able to view the artist's hit music video on their PC. These additional features (plus other SunnComm security measures) will enable Len Doolin and Sunbird Records to produce a leading-edge, expanded experience CD product that helps protect the artist from unauthorized duplication and raises the performance bar of value to the music buyer.

Sunbird's President Nelson Larkin stated, "Our efforts are focused on showcasing Len Doolin's talent in the face of a changing marketplace. The enhanced capabilities available with this new product solution from SunnComm set a new standard of consumer experience with regard to audio CDs.

"The SunnComm solution outpaces the customer's expectations by providing security and increasing value while doing nothing to endanger the integrity of the music. That's why Sunbird Records picked SunnComm's technology instead of its competitors."

SunnComm Inc. is a leader in digital content security for optical media with its MediaCloQ suite of products.
