Here are a few backup solutions:
- Use the LL32ICA Generic LaserLock Patch or LaserLock Import Fixer.
LL32ICA is a Generic LaserLock Patcher which is able to remove the LaserLock protection. Currently it fully supports LaserLock v4.03.x, LaserLock 4.05.x and LaserLock 5.00.x and maybe it also supports other versions!
- BlindRead & DDump both support this CD protection as long as the CD-Reader supports RAW (MMC DAO RAW) mode reading.
- It is also possible to copy the unreadable files using a HexEditor. This way all readable parts of the file are copied to a file.

| Laserlock uses a combination of encryption software and unique laser marking on the CD surface made during the special LaserLock mastering procedure, in order to make copying practically impossible. Every CD-ROM application has a unique locking parameter that provides a complete protection against illegal re-mastering and reproduction. LaserLock offers excellent protection for every application as each application package is characterized by a unique encryption parameter that is specified during LaserLocking procedure. |
