Associates, Inc. of Irvine, CA, announced today a
comprehensive SafeDisc software upgrade to the existing CD
Associates test equipment package.
The CD Associates software models
that the SafeDisc upgrade will cover include the SL100, SP100 and
QTs. The Sentry systems upgrade will be available at a later date.
The CD Associates software user has a choice of receiving the free
software upgrade via email or in the form of a floppy diskette.

The SafeDisc technology, which is
licensed at 35 replicators worldwide, is a software based solution

protected over 5 million discs to date, and based on strong
industry projections is estimated to protect 40 million discs in
1999.
